Academic Programs

Occidental College offers 31 majors and a number of unique academic programs. Below are videos and links to some of our specialized offerings.

Undergraduate Research

One of our signature co-academic programs, each year Oxy sends students to the Southern California and National Conferences for Undergraduate Research - often sending more than any other school, large or small. This year 20 students were invited to the National Undergraduate Research Conference, held at Ithaca College in New York.

Diplomacy and World Affairs including:

Oxy-and-the-UN: the only program in the world able to offer internships at the United Nations to undergraduate students.

Oxy Worldwide: a student-run online magazine that publishes articles and photographs from members of the Occidental College community.
